Chat memory

Chat memory template

I've had 3k slow-burn chats on a single RP, and this is how I set up my chat memory. You can also remove or add any section to fit your RP.

FieldWhat to write
01Past Memories:

Key past events or scenes that matter right now. Write them in past tense.

02Important Info:

Crucial details, like family, kids' names, etc.

03Char Relationship with Sona:

How their relationship has grown so far and where it stands now, e.g. enemies, reluctant allies, romantic interest.

04Current Scenario:

Set the scene: where they are, what just happened, what they're doing, and the overall vibe (even outfits).

05Char's Affection Level Towards Sona:

Where their feelings stand, from enemies to lovers. For example: hostile, indifferent, curious, smitten, in love, or a secret crush they won't admit. For slow burns, "none" or "full of hate" works too.

TipYou can also do this

Ask the AI to summarize your RP for you. Send one of these in your chat, then copy its reply into your chat memory. The first one works even if your memory is still empty.

New memory

(OOC: Pause the roleplay. Summarize what has happened so far for my chat memory, using these headings: Past Memories, Important Info, {{char}} Relationship with {{user}}, Current Scenario, {{char}}'s Affection Level Towards {{user}}. Write Past Memories in past tense. Only include things that actually happened, keep it short, and don't continue the story.)

Update memory

(OOC: Pause the roleplay. Update my chat memory with what has happened since it was last written. Keep the same headings, add new events to Past Memories in past tense, and update the other sections to match the story now. Keep it short and don't continue the story.)

Example

Past Memories: One time, John rigged a prank that got Mashe covered in purple dye right before an important event. Mashe retaliated by short-sheeting John's bed.

John's Relationship with Mashe: What started as intense dislike and petty rivalry has slowly morphed into a sort of grudging respect over the years, as they kept getting thrown into situations that forced them to work together. There are glimpses of underlying chemistry and sexual tension, though they both refuse to admit it. Their relationship is now at the "combative flirting" phase where the insults have a somewhat affectionate undercurrent.

Current Scenario: John and Mashe have been assigned to go on a dangerous quest together to retrieve a powerful artifact. They are currently trekking through a gloomy forested area. The atmosphere is tense.

John's Affection Level Towards Mashe: Attracted/smitten but in a denial phase. He will always push away any tender feelings as "inconvenient"

By purchasing from my shop or joining my membership, you agree to the terms below. All content is digital and available immediately, so please read everything carefully before buying or subscribing.

NO REFUNDS

All payments are final and non-refundable under any circumstances. This includes:

  • Shop purchases: All sales are final, since digital items are delivered instantly and cannot be returned.
  • Membership fees: Payments are final for the period paid. You may cancel at any time to stop future billing, but no refund is issued for the current billing period.
  • Revoked access: Access removed due to a violation of these terms is not eligible for a refund.

COPYRIGHT & OWNERSHIP

I retain full creative ownership and copyright of all written characters, lore, designs, and textual content. Buying a character card, commission, or membership does NOT transfer copyright, authorship, or exclusive ownership of any original character (OC) to you. My characters, designs, and images may not be claimed, altered, or repurposed as your own.

PERSONAL USE ONLY

All purchases are for personal, private, non-commercial use only.

REDISTRIBUTION PROHIBITED

You may NOT redistribute, resell, publicly post, or share any delivered content including but not limited to: character cards, images, download links, or private access links, except as permitted in Sections 5 and 7.

IMAGE USE

All images from my shop, image packs, and membership are for viewing only. You may NOT use them anywhere outside the platform they were delivered on, including but not limited to:

  • Profile pictures or avatars on any platform
  • Banners or headers
  • Reposts or shares of any kind

This applies whether or not an image is watermarked. The only exceptions are custom commissions (see Section 7) and the listing cover picture of a product you purchased in my shop (unless the cover is blurred), which may be used as a profile picture or avatar as long as you do not claim the character as your own.

WATERMARKS

Some images may include watermarks, and some may not—this does not change the usage rules. Watermarks exist to prevent character theft, and to stop my OCs from being reposted on sites like Pinterest where other people may unknowingly use them as their own OC.

CUSTOM IMAGE COMMISSIONS

Commissioned images are created specifically for your personal use only. You MAY use them as profile pictures, avatars, or banners on any platform, provided you:

  • Do not claim the character design as your own original creation
  • Do not use them to represent your own OC, or post them publicly as your character

MEMBERSHIP

  • Members only: Membership access, content, and benefits are for the individual member's personal use only. You may not share, forward, repost, or give access to any membership content with anyone else. This includes but is not limited to character cards, images, bonus drops, rewards, early access content, member-only posts, and download links.
  • Current-month access only: Membership gives access to that month's exclusive OCs, ALTs, and related assets. When a new month starts, previous exclusives are locked and can only be accessed again by purchasing them in my shop. This keeps things fair for active supporters.
  • Minimum 7-day download window: Every asset stays available for at least 7 days from its release date, even if released late in the month. For example, an asset released on September 24th remains available until at least October 1st.

All times referenced use GMT-4.

VIOLATIONS & ENFORCEMENT

Violations, including but not limited to fraudulent chargebacks or payment attempts, redistribution, public posting, reselling, sharing private links, sharing membership content, unauthorized image use, or claiming my work as your own, will result in:

  • Immediate revocation of all access and content
  • Permanent ban from my shop, membership, and community
  • I reserve the right to pursue legal action for copyright infringement and damages

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

I may update these terms at any time. Changes take effect once posted, with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continuing to use my shop or membership after changes are posted means you accept the revised terms. For significant changes, I'll make reasonable efforts to notify active customers and members through announcements or Discord.

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.
